Na het afronden van de opleiding Amsterdam Electronic Music Academy aan het conservatorium, studeerde hij aan de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen. In zijn geboortestad Groningen volgde hij de bachelor IT-recht en een bachelor filosofie. Begin 2025 behaalde Marnix zijn master IT-recht (die hij cum laude heeft afgerond).
