Bram Bogaerts has been a lawyer since 2021. From the beginning of his practice, he has worked for Visser Schaap & Kreijger. He works across the entire field of IP. His practice mainly focuses on copyright, neighbouring rights, trade mark and design law. He is closely involved in advising, and litigating on behalf of, various clients of the firm.

Bram is a member of the Benelux Association of Trademark and Design Law (BMM).

Representative work:

• Representation of a major international games manufacturer in proceedings for alleged copyright infringement of the “Rubik’s Cube”;
• Advising and representing various collecting societies in court, including in large-scale infringement and debt collection cases;
• Collective enforcement actions against illegal IPTV providers;
• Acting on behalf of major brand owners and sports organisations against sales of illegal merchandise around major events;
• Proceedings on who owns the copyright to a book: the ghostwriter or the person whose story is being told.
